KEY FEATURES

• XTRweld 316L-16 for molybdenum (Mo) bearing stainless steels with 1.5 to 3.0% Mo, including 18% Chromium (Cr) and low Nickel (Ni) bearing base metals.
• Primarily used for resistance to pitting, many acids and general corrosion.
• Can be used for welding ferritic-austenitic stainless steel such as 329, 405, 410, and 430 or titanium/niobium stabilized grades such as 316Ti in certain applications where the service temperature is below 700°F; also capable of welding 304 & 316 stainless steels in cryogenic service when the ferrite number is below 2.
• Excellent all position capabilities
• Extra low carbon content to resist pitting
• Suitable for titanium and niobium stabilized versions of 316L stainless
